Prayers Heard2

They may have waited a brief while to see if their own their own naval or maritime solutions would suffice.  Wheeeee  Whoaaaaaaaa! The storm continued to rage.

In their boat was the Saviour of mankind, Jesus.

A few of them may have realised Who they had, so they moved and called out to Him:  Do you not care that in a moment we shall perish?  Do You not see the tempest raging?  He had chosen a spot and was resting on pillows in the midst of a storm on a tossing ship!!

The Master! 'Tis only the Master who can do this! What manner of Man!

The days are such that chills will arise from within you as you hear one news after the other, warning of scary economic and political times.  Facts about your own health will shake the very foundations of your being.

We have a Master in the boat.  Cry out to Him.  Let the Holy Spirit teach you to cry the distress call to Him.  As you pray, have faith in Him -  note that He alone can do this:  He will cause Peace to be still, in these times.

As a member of the body of Christ you need to be encouraged with the right kind of encouragement, Brethren.  I myself have come to know how serious it is to be separated, physically, from a wife.  I do not know how it works for women, but being a man, I know I need my woman by me, she is my body!!  Perhaps it works the same way for our ladies, too. 

When you pray, have it in mind that you are not alone.  Your Groom, the Christ, Jesus is with you, church. 

(Christ) Men are not the type that leave their brides separated from them.  No wonder Jesus says: I am with you always.  If so, He hears you when you speak.

And He will physically return to take us back unto himself.  The Great Groom of the Church!!

Matt 28:20
...and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Some times they would do it for the tip, most times it is the embedded art that is hidden in them by their training and many years of practice - but in all, they do wait on us when we visit their restaurants.

Can you picture this:  on a daily basis, as the sun and moon are given their power to declare the beginning and end of day, angels ply a heavenly route with prayers, requests and supplication from you; and answers to you from God. 

Think about this, you are a candidate for another miracle from God.  Tell us how you feel about this truth.

There is fulness of joy in His presence.  There is also life and health and peace.  Death flees in His presence, too.  Bible talks about ....he who had died  coming out bound and wrapped up.

The Lord will make fresh something that has died and command it to begin to live, again.

[John 11:40 :Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying.  And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”]

Leave these shores of division and berth on the shores of multiplication.

The way English language is evolving makes it quite challenging for second language users.  No matter what, we shall continue to use it with success!!

For instance the word ''attitude'' may be used with a little bit of confusion.  Suppose I point out to you that you have an attitude, will you still be my friend?   Attitude should not always connote negativity.  You need it in prayer.

Hannah's heart was heavy with barrenness reigning in her body.  She needed a baby.  She would weep and not eat.  She went through grief and yearned to be fruitful.

When we chat with attested winners, they will freely share with us their inner views about the art of winning. 

It does not always feel like win when you are winning.  This is a physical thing.  It is also true spiritually.  Sometimes, everything just seem so bad - yes even when copious amounts of prayer have gone in.  Again I say, the bible and the characters in the bible all do have something to say to urge us on when we feel like this.  Like what?

 Jer 33:3 :  Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Josh5:10-16, 6:1-3 

12And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

1Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.

 2And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.

 3And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.

Nkakra-nkakra, little by little, the God of Heaven is changing the polarity of everything to your favour.  Know and hear; have you not known, have you not heard...

Present continuous.  In the now as in the past so for the future!  My God is still the same and changes not.  God is good.  He is just good.  He is not like man who makes promises and when it comes to making it good, looks for ways to reduce payment.  When I set a test for my students and I find that many are geting a hundred percent, I look for ways to make it conform to the normal distribution curve!  Asking why?  Because I am man!!  God is God.  The bible has this remarkable thing to say about God:  Num 23:19

19 God is not a man, that he should lie,
       nor a son of man, that he should change his mind.
       Does he speak and then not act?
       Does he promise and not fulfill?

This is real stuff about our Real God.

The God who holds the plans of the foundations of the earth  and all cosmic powers  has plans for you!!  Think of this!

So no matter where you may find yourself, His power will still sweep you, you shall give glory to Whom it belongs!! 

12 If you pay attention to these laws and are careful to follow them, then the LORD your God will keep his covenant of love with you, as he swore to your forefathers. 13 He will love you and bless you and increase your numbers. He will bless the fruit of your womb, the crops of your land—your grain, new wine and oil—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks in the land that he swore to your forefathers to give you.

Get ready!  Get some celebration outfit, be ready and go join the brethren, go celebrate the Lord's resurrection and the confirmation of our faith on Sunday.  Enjoy the fellowship!

Stay active and determined.  Stay purposed in your heart that you will receive of the Lord all that you need for this life and for godliness.

2 Pet 1:3 teaches:
seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever.  Isa 40:8

Has God revealed anything concerning you?  Just wait on Him, it shall come to pass.

It is not sayng Get behind the scenes; nor is it saying ' got behind the scenes but indeed that working on your behalf, God is behind the scenes.  All the glory belongs to Him but He demands not, He parades not!  He is the God at the background, working and sorting things out for you, and all who will entrust Him with their cares and worries. 

  Bible-schooled people explain to us the meaning of Bethlehem.  "House of bread".

No wonder the Saviour has this as His place de naissance!  What does this food mean to your diet.  I do not have the statistics, but I tend to believe that a good proportion of the Earth's inhabitants do eat or have adapted to eating bread, made of wheat, corn etc.  Well, I want to gather the courage and let you understand, for some of you, you need not be told, because you know more; Jesus is the Bread you will find in Bethlehem.  So when you come to Bethlehem, you can only buy Him and have your dinner of Him.  Sure you heard it being sang in classical: "Panis Angelicus" , Bread of the angels. 

He is the sustainer of the Angels in Heaven and now the Father has given Him to us for our sustenance!! What a profound truth.

Brother, get some of this Bread.  I have got mine here!!

Yes Sir!  That is what I said.  Prayer actually makes it tick!  Medicine owes its potency and consistency to the Word of God and to Prayer.

Purpose in your heart and put your heart in your purpose that you will get beyond this one and that one, and you will break the bonds of INABILITY apart.

Indeed you can.  This woman made a purposeful decision about Jesus.  Perhaps she had heard about Him and what He had done for this other woman across the neighbourhood.  So she made it her intention that the next time she hears of Him, she will better her lot and ACT!

Jesus, Son of David!  Have mercy on me.  Unless you can scream like this, unless you can proclaim His human-ness in order to understand His divinity and by so get an understanding of the extent of His work against the gravity of our sin, answers to prayers may be delayed.  You know, my dear, all things are CONNECTED

The things that are yet to be done in our lives but seem not to be forthcoming, are still and currently being CONTESTED in the heavenlies.  Only our prayers can release the solution.  This is why Jesus declares that men/women ought to pray and not faint (luke 18:1).  He goes on to spell out the benefit of persistence in prayer.  When we commit to prayer, we get answers!
